1. The setting of this creation is a simple background, with colorful words (incorporating 12 the different colors). I started with a sketch, making sure it looked the way I wanted. Then I made sure all my colors were painted in the letters. Next, I put tape over the letters while I used 3 shades of gray to do the background. Also made "stars" and splattered different colors in the center. I tried to make this unique, using a play on words with maximization and maximizing the whole page.
2. I used line, to separate the colors and letters, in the background and everywhere in between. I used balance by having my letters go off the page on 3 sides. I changed the way the background looked, I also used marker to outline and clean up the edges of the letters to finish it off.
3. The meaning behind this artwork is to draw attention, especially to the center, using a big word to include all the aspects that were needed. This project relates to my life because it's a not common word, and I have been trying to expand my vocabulary. If I could change one thing about this artwork it would be to have the splattered colors blend with the stripes of gray.
