Gelatin Prints

1. The subject of this creation is trying to manipulate ordinary objects and turn them into something that makes people think. To make this art, I used ink and rolled it onto a gelatin print, then took whichever objects I thought would look neat and then printed it onto paper. I chose one to manipulate into something bigger like I said before. I used balance to even out where the different textures or shapes were on the paper.

2. I used line and balance to make all kinds of different looking gelatin prints. I changed what I was going to do to the print I manipulated, instead of making a story, I decided to bring what I saw on the print outside of it and change that even further.

3. The meaning behind this artwork is to give the observers more to think about while looking at it. This project relates to my life because it is 'outside of the box'. If I could change one thing about this artwork it would be the objects that I chose to create the different shapes and textures.
