Relationship

Artist Statement:

• This is for my photography project, "Relationship." For this photo, I had my younger brother Raveen stand in front of my camera with a bunch of his Star Wars lego figures. My brother is a gigantic collector of these Star Wars legos, he's been taking them up for a while. I would say he has a real relationship with them, I knew he would be a perfect candidate. I had him hold a bunch in his arms and cradle them. I then printed the photo out on transparency paper, then took it to the darkroom. I used a one second exposure time and then put it through the developer, stop and fix. Here is the final product.
