Reflective Self-Portrait

Artist Statement:

• This was for the project Self-Portrait. For this picture, I took some binoculars and pointed my camera lens directly into the front end of the binoculars. Because of this, I was able to get a circular image and made it stretched farther away. I then printed the image on a transparency sheet and took it into the darkroom. After exposing the sheet for about 2 seconds, I took a spray bottle and sprayed at the sheet. The problem was that it came out way too dark, you can barely see me. Here is the final product.
