Advanced Photograms

Artist Statement:

• For this project we were supposed to make a collage out of several picture we ourselves took. For my collage, I took a picture of me took a picture of tree and overlayed it over me, making the trees in the form of me. I then took a portrait of my brother, and placed on the right side of the photogram, I then took of picture of a small lego stormtrooper, and placed it on the left side. Above, the top two are the black and white version as well as the inverse. Below, are the printed darkroom versions, for which some of the pictures, I placed random objects like keys and jewelry. Making the darkroom photos themselves was pretty easy, all I did was set the timer to about six seconds, then followed with the developer, fix, and then stop.
