Film Inspired Image

ARTISIT STATEMENT:

The very first photo was a inverted picture of a collage I made. This Collage I made was through bits and parts of magazines. I cut out sections and glued them down onto one piece of paper to make a whole scene, the scene was just people swimming in a lake. I scanned the collage, and printed one normal, and one inverted image. After scanning them, I printed them onto clear sheets to process in the dark room. I used a sheet of light sensitive paper to see how long I should expose the sheet. After exposing the entire sheet, I put it into the developer, water, stop, water, then fix. After this process, I let my sheet rinse for about ten minuets. I set the sheet to dry and these were my finished products. The process was a bit difficult, because it was my first time and I kept messing up, but sooner or later I eventually got it right. These, were my finished products.
