Wire Sculpture

Artist Statement:

• This was my project "Wire Project." For this project I created something that I love to use and what my hobbie revolves around. For this project I created a film camera. This film camera wasn't originally my first idea was to make a Rubik's cube, but to make the actual square was too difficult to do, so I chose to do my second idea, which was a film camera. I first made the base and the legs to make the top stand up, to do so I outlined the bottom on a piece of paper and then used it as a guide to bend the wire. I then made multiple different sized rings to make the actual lens, I then made one giant ring to connect the lens and the camera together. To connect them I made tiny little fish hook wire pieces to attach them together. Here is the final product.
