Color Study

Artist Statement:

• This was my Complimentary Color Study art project. Our goal was to use color and blend them together to make it similar to the chosen/selected photo, collage, etc. The main colors I used in this art project was blue, white, tan, and black. This art project was not easy to make, now the art is not really supposed to look realistic, but for me it was pretty difficult to even look similar to my picture. This art project took almost a week, with about an hour or more with each session. The most difficult part was trying to get my face and backpack to look good, they ended looking like a big tan circle, and my backpack looked like tan lines. This experience helped me to understand blending colors and will for sure help me with future colored art projects.
