Class Description
This class, or Introduction to Spanish, is a required Allied Arts course for all 7th graders. Students will learn how to write, speak and listen to Spanish. Students leaving this class will be able to carry on simple conversations in Spanish about basic personal information (name, age, origin, birthdate), likes and dislikes, descriptions of self and friends/family, and favorite foods. Additionally, they will gain a beginning understanding of gender, adjective agreement, verb conjugation, and sentence structure. It is a great preview of what students will be learning in Spanish 1, either in grade 8 or at MHS.
