6th Grade Art

6th Grade Visual Art: The sixth-grade art program transitions students from the district elementary art program of choice-based learning to further developing choice and proficiency in the Elements of Art and Principles of Design through 2-D and 3-D art classes with exposure to artworks and styles of art throughout history and cultures. Students learn skills & techniques through teacher-led demonstrations and choice-based unit projects as they experiment and grow in the art studio, further developing their artistic voice in the areas of originality and self-expression.
