Grade Six Chorus is open to all students in sixth grade.  It is a graded Allied Art course that is typically a year's term or can be a semester study. Chorus class meets every day.  

Throughout the year there are various opportunities to showcase our skills learned in the classroom for the school community as well as evening concerts and as invited guests in our community-at-large including:

• November: Veteran's Day School Assembly + December:  Eliot Tree Lighting + January: MMS Winter Chorus Concert + March: Grade 4-12 Choral Workshop at MHS + March: Maine State House National Anthem and Tour + April: National Anthem guest performances at UNH and Maine Mariners hockey games + May: Concert clinic at the upper elementary school + May: Funtown Music Festival +  June: Spring Concert Finale +In addition, the Choruses have had the opportunity to participate in adjudicated music festivals in the New England region.
