History
HOW WE TEACH HISTORY AT REDGATE
At Redgate, we inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past, developing knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. We develop key skills including asking perceptive questions, thinking critically and weighing up evidence. We consider how the past influences the present, what societies were like and how peoples’ actions were influenced by their beliefs and cultures. We improve every pupil’s cultural capital, understanding of the world and their own heritage allowing them to understand more about themselves as individuals and as members of society.
