CTL Live Events are online synchronous sessions where Purdue Global faculty, staff, and administration share information with colleagues via audio, text-based chat, and webcam while displaying a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation. These sessions may last from 15 minutes to an hour. Sessions are scheduled according to speaker availability and open dates and times on the CTL Calendar. To be considered professional development, a session must include learning outcomes that align with the CTL and Purdue Global mission statements and the Higher Learning Commission standards. If you are interested in presenting and would like assistance, the CTL team is available for presentation development, support, and practice. Please get in touch with askctl@purdueglobal.edu for more information and to coordinate a presentation.
Earn professional development for live events by either attending the session live and completing the reflection form or viewing the recording and completing the reflection form. The CTL uploads professional development hours monthly from the completed reflection forms to the faculty management system. The event recordings available for professional development are listed in the catalog document by category. Caption options are available for recording views; learn how to enable captions.
