The Rubric Data Report, presented by Department, provides detailed information about how students are performing on specific aspects of their assignments and discussion boards.
Each Department's Rubric Data Report includes the following information for each criterion on each grading rubric: Average Score, Standard Deviation, and Total Scores. To help identify trends over time, these data are presented separately for each term of each course.
Course leads are strongly encouraged to review this report to identify where students may need additional support and where scoring or student performance might be inconsistent.
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), in collaboration with the Assessment and Research team, provides a workshop with guidance on how faculty and staff can use the Rubric Data Report. The workshop, CTL026 Rubric Data Report, is available to all faculty and staff on the CTL Workshop site.
