Faculty Scholarship Award
The Faculty Scholarship Award Committee was formed by the Office of the Chancellor and the Faculty Senate, launching in April 2015. The Committee will vote and select one award recipient on a quarterly basis. During PG’s annual Town Hall meeting in June, the Faculty Senate President will honor the quarterly award recipients, and the Chancellor will select an overall winner for the year. This overall winner will be featured in such publications as the Monday Minute in addition to other publications and media as appropriate. The Faculty Scholarship Award is open to all Purdue University Global faculty in honor of the important contribution that their scholarship makes to their respective disciplines, in interdisciplinary areas, to teaching and learning, and to broader audiences.
Definition of Scholarly Work: Scholarly work included in this award may include professional presentations, workshops, interviews, peer-reviewed publications, contributions to professional journals, textbooks, book chapters, etc. This includes traditional disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas as well as work on the scholarship of teaching and learning and the scholarship of engagement.

The top three nominees remain eligible for 3 award cycles.
Faculty can win the award at maximum, once a year.
Faculty are nominated for the award by their Academic Department Chair or supervisor.
