Review Feedback
All Live Events sessions include an end-of-session event reflection form. Presenters will be sent form results in a timely manner and are encouraged to review the feedback to guide stronger future presentations. The CTL uses the input from these surveys to gather data for the improvement of future Live Events.
Areas of opportunity for your presentation:
Visuals:
Images used should serve to underscore the presentation content.
Complementary color schemes and appropriate themes are used.
Images are visually appealing and are correctly cited to avoid copyright violations.
The CTL will provide live event presenters with a PG branded template to develop presentation content slides.
Content:
Theme: Presentation clearly connects to the topic, series theme, or conference track.
Application: Presentation has practical application for the audience that can be implemented in attendees' own research, classrooms, or other professional areas.
Examples: The presenter uses vivid examples derived from their experience that help to illuminate the topic.
Support:
High-quality source materials are used (within the last 3 years for books, 5 years for journals, peer-reviewed, landmark studies for the field).
Low-quality source material such as Wikipedia and other undocumented, unvetted resources are avoided.
The source material is cited consistently and correctly, with both parenthetical citations and references page(s).
Delivery and Engagement:
The presenter implements effective engagement strategies. Examples include:
draw the audience in through appropriate questioning
answer audience questions
demonstrate innovative techniques and tools
employ strong vocal delivery
use strong visual delivery
create rapport with the audience
share additional resources to be explored independently
Learning Outcomes:
The presenter clearly communicates two or more learning outcomes for this session.
The presentation successfully meets the learning outcomes.
