Proposal Resources
The Pillars of the CTL Professional Development Plan encompass the themes of Classroom Foundations, Leadership and Organization, NextGen Learning, Scholarship, and Student Focus. The following information is meant to assist presenters when developing presentations and writing descriptions with learning outcomes for their presentations.
Learning outcomes below are suggested but not limited to:
Classroom Foundations attendees will be able to
consider ways to foster student engagement and retention using tools specific to the university
design activities to increase student satisfaction and engagement
justify activities that provide a return on educational investment
Leadership and Organization attendees will be able to
develop and strengthen leadership skills
evaluate our great place initiatives
analyze resources and tools used to maximize efficiency and productivity
Student Focus attendees will be able to
improve the student experience from admission to graduation
design activities to increase student satisfaction and engagement
create opportunities for interaction that foster student engagement and retention
NextGen Learning attendees will be able to
develop skills using tools that increase teaching process efficiency
develop skills using tools that improve interaction with students
Scholarship attendees will be able to
facilitate effective course delivery
identify industry changes and trends

Once you submit your interest via email to ctllive@purdueglobal.edu, you will hear back within 48 hours. The CTL will confirm that presenters are in good standing within the university before being scheduled to present.
We recommend that future presenters attend at least two CTL Live Events. As an attendee, you will gain a better understanding about Live Events in general. You will also earn professional development toward your yearly requirement for attendance at each Live Event.
