Message from the President
Reflections from President Dr. Michael Anthony
"My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place--police, firefighters, and members of our armed forces." ~ Sidney Sheldon
As I mentioned before, I have always had great respect for those in the armed forces. While I do not always agree with how our forces are used by our civilian leadership, I can say without hesitation that the women and men who serve have my admiration and appreciation. As we close another week, remember to take time to show your gratitude to those who serve our country and communities and those who have made sacrifices in the line of duty. I hope you were able to attend the Missing Man Table ceremony on Monday or joined us for our Veteran’s Day program on Thursday, November 11. I want to take this time to show my appreciation and gratitude for MSG (ret.) Georges Sanon, who serves as the Coordinator of the Office of Military Student Affairs at PSC. He not only provides programming for our students and community, but he is hands-on with our student veterans and their families, helping them to reach their goals and navigate this campus. I appreciate you, Georges, and I wish all of you a happy and safe weekend!
