Apple Dumplings

Take your best cooking apple (I use Spy Gold or Northern Spy) and peel it and core it.

Place in a small baking dish. I usually make 8 dishes and put them on a cookie sheet

Ingredients

about 2 cups of 10x sugar

about 2 teaspoons of cinnimon

about 1/3 cup - 1/2 cup heavy cream


Mix the above ingredients adding enough cream to make a thick gravy.

Fill up each apple hole.

Place pie dough over top of each individual apple.

Bake at 400 degrees F until the top is brown, about 40-50 minutes.
