This week the children will be continuing to write a diary entry from the perspective of a child during World War II. We will also be focusing on:
· Expanded nouns
· Direct speech
· Ellipses
Maths:
This week the children will be working on multiplication and division. We will be focusing on:
· x3, x4 and x8 times tables.
· Grid method multiplication
· Solving missing number problems.
Science:
In science we will be continuing our topic of forces and magnets. The children will be:
· Observing how magnets attract and repel
· Discovering materials that are magnetic and non-magnetic.
Concert:
Please can the children continue to practice their songs and dances at home. Also bring in their costumes as soon as possible. Thank you.
