This is the timetable which we will be using for the duration of Ramadan. Please note that school begins at 8.00 and the first lesson starts at 8.10. School ends at 1.00.

Today we had lots of fun investigating the level of friction on different surfaces.
Dear Parents,
Please note that starting on the first day of Ramadan (whenever this is formally announced), the school timings until the end of Ramadan for the students will be 8am to 1:00pm. School buses will pick up an hour later in the morning. Please can you make arrangements for your child to be picked up by 1:00pm, there will only be aftercare until 1:30pm for emergencies.
The school canteen will be closed, therefore those students in KS 2 who are not fasting are requested to bring a packed lunch and a bottle of water/juice which will be consumed in the canteen. We will make appropriate arrangements for those students who are fasting in KS1.

Geography and History
Geography and History
Dear parents,
This term we are assessing Geography and History via research projects to be completed at home.
For Geography, the task will be to produce a 5 chapter information booklet (1 chapter/page per week) about rain forests. There is a different question/ title for each week. It is the students’ job to use the internet to research information and produce a short, concise page, including pictures. You will be able to find the question/title of the chapter/page on the VLE CLASS PAGE in the post below. Submission will be at the end of term on the following date; not each week.
Deadline for submission: Wednesday 29th May
For History, the task will be to produce a power point presentation about WWII. There is a different question/ title for each week. It is the students’ job to use the internet to research information and produce one or two concise slides, including pictures. You will be able to find the question/title on the VLE CLASS PAGE below. Submission will be at the end of term on the following date; not each week.
