Here we will celebrate students and highlight their successes and participation in activities and events.
This January 20 students from year 9-12 attended the Hague International Model United Nations, focusing on Peace, Justice and Strong institutions.
The students spent months planning and preparing resolutions to contribute to discussions ranging from limiting nuclear proliferation in the Middle East, measures to limit illicit firearm trafficking and measures to eradicate slave trading.
During the three days of debates students contributed to discussion to create solutions to these problems and attended lectures from members of the UNODC (United Nations office on Drugs and Crime) to help build their understanding of what the United Nations does to promote peace in the world.
This was an amazing opportunity for these students and they have worked hard to make themselves and our school proud of their hard work.
