As we continue to increase our participation in local sporting events, our Year 5 and 6 Boys and Girls participated in a tournament at the American School of Doha this past week.

On Monday 3 March 2020 Year 4 enjoyed a fun trip to Kidzania.

Over a hundred Year 6 pupils enjoyed our annual Year 6 desert trip on 2 March 2020.
After the trip through desert, we enjoyed a variety of different activities such as darts, table tennis, playing in the water, volleyball and sand boarding.
After a hearty lunch, pupils competed in teams to see who could collect the most litter from the beach.
Thanks to all the Year 6 teachers and PT members for attending the trip and Mrs Julies for all the arrangements.
NBA enjoyed a fun-filled week with lots of different activities. With the help of our hard-working teachers and PTA, pupils enjoyed investigations and experiments linked to the Science curriculum.
On Wednesday, 26 February, pupils exhibted their home-based projects at the Science Fayre.
On the 6th of February our Year 5 and 6 girls participated in an Inter-Newton Football Tournament. They qualified for the semi-finals after 2 draws and 1 win in the pool matches.
A 2 - 0 win over Westbay in the semi-finals booked them a spot in the finals where they triumphed (1 - 0) over Newton NBS.
Hayfaa in Year 6 B was the tournament's top goal scorer. Well done to all the girls!
We had the good fortune of having reprentatives of the Qatar Airways Cadet Programme addressing our Year 5 and Year 6 classes.
These interesting sessions, ended with a Q and A session where pupils could ask two pilots any questions about their work.
On Thursday, 30 Janaury 2020, Secondary boys enjoyed a trip to QAWS, an animal shelter outside Doha. The boys had an opportunity to play with the cats and walk the dogs.

NBA raised 17359 QR for Educate a Child across EYFS, Primary and Secondary. Thank you all for making this a huge success and to Ms. Miles and the Secondary students who have worked so hard for this cause.
Primary and Seconday staff enjoyed a day sharing good practice. Professional develpment was focused on P4C, T4W and our new VLE platform Fusion.
On 29 Janaury 2020, NBA particpated in it's first Tag Rugby Tournament. 8 pupils from Year 4 to 6 played 3 matches, winning one, drawing one and losing the last match.
We played against Compass, Doha College and Doha British School. Well done to boys and girls who participated.

On Tuesday, 7 January 2020, we had a few visitors from the Newton Group to observe our good practice in P4C. The feedback was positive and we look forward to further embedding philosophical inquires in our weekly timetable.
On 16.12.19, we celebrated best attendance in each Year Group - classes with the highest percentage attendance over the term received money to spend on a two hour art activity. We believe in celebrating success and rewarding positive behaviours.
