The Secondary Science Fair has happened and again its been a brilliant day full of lots of excitement and awesome projects.
The science department is currently tallying up the total but stay tune for up dates in the week to come.

Back again, for the 4 year running, is The NBA Science Fair, the highlight of the science week.
The science department is hard at work designing the categories we will be using this year but hopeful we will be able to share this with you all soon.
The school science fair is compulsory for all Key Stage 3 students, information will be passed on to students soon.
We would also love for you parents to help use judge the students work. Any parents with a science back ground that interesting in Judging for the science fair on the 28th February please email your child science teacher.
Here is the Science fair hand book, please look through it and help your children to decide what category they will do for the science fair. Additional information regarding category 1 stander experimental category can be found on the Key Stage 3 VLE and your child's teacher will be sharing the resources on Edmodo.
One of the most important skills for a scientist is to know how to do research and carry of experiment on there own. To help develop this attitude i our students, the science department has decided that this year the students projects for the science fair will go towards there end of year subject grade. So please help and encourage your child through the science fair as this year.
If you come into the reception area over the next 2 weeks, you will see a large number of cell display's and model's produced by our amazing year 7 & 10.
The science department has decided to offer a prize to the best display or model and we need YOUR help to find the best one.
So please if you are in the reception area look over these posters and models, then select you favourite model or poster, fill in the voting sheet and place it in the voting box.
Exam session is upon use. So here in the science department thought it may help you to improve your revision strategies by looking at 9 scientific study methods that have been shown to help
