You are invited to celebrate our children’s achievements across the year group which will take place on the following date:
Year 3 Tuesday 18th June at 10:30

Yours sincerely.

Dear Primary Parents,
As you know, we were notified of a change of holiday dates last Thursday which has impacted upon our examination schedule. In order to minimise the disruption for students and parents, we have decided to reorganise the GL Progress Tests so that they will all finish by Thursday the 13th of June.
The new schedule is as follows:
Layan and her sister Rawda are having a chess competition in Turkey.
NBA is looking for parents who can consistently give an hour of there time every week to read with children on a one to one basis. The aim is to promote links between NBA and parents and develop children's fluency and understanding of what they are reading.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity please contact the school on the email address listed below and leave the following details:

Parents have a choice of venue, with the camps being held at Parkhouse English School, and both Doha College Al Waab and West Bay campuses. The camps are open to boys and girls aged 4 to 11 years and run from 8 am to 1 pm Sunday to Thursday. To ensure that we are able to cater for the variety of school breaks we are introducing an additional 3rd week of clubs during the spring break, at Parkhouse School from 31st March to 4th April. Welcome to the Primary Section of Newton British Academy's new VLE (Virtual Learning Environment)
We have created this page to ensure that we communicate effectively with you the parents and to help for a better working relationship. This is an exciting development for NBA and we are sure this will give you greater insight into your child's journey through primary school.
From October 14th, each Year Group will have a tab located on the toolbar at the top of this page. This will take you directly to the homepage where important information about the week ahead will be shared. Additionally, on this page you will find information about what your child is learning each week at NBA and the homework assigned to your child along with deadlines and due dates. There will also be links to educational websites that you and your child can use to supplement work done in school.
Our Parent/Teacher conference will be held on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th November 2018.
Arabic Department staff will be available for discussion in the KS1 Amphitheatre.
Specialist Staff (French, ICT, PE, and Music) will be available for discussion in the KS2 Amphitheatre.
Please find below a soft copy of the letter that must be filled in and returned to your child class teacher as soon as possible a hard copy of the letter will go home with you child today
Dear Parents
Primary are excited to introduce the VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) homework pages from Sunday 14th October 2018. This page will contain important year group notices as well as sharing information about what your children are currently studying in their classes. This will allow greater ownership and involvement in your child's education at home effectively.
The main function of the page will be to share the homework activities that have been set. They will be uploaded under clear headings and can be downloaded if needed by clicking on the arrow at the top right of the document.
In addition, the page will contain online activities to reinforce basic Literacy and Numeracy skills. This is a major upgrade in the way we communicate with you and will have a positive impact on the way our school functions.
Homework will be uploaded and available from 13.30 every Thursday and the curriculum overview will be refreshed with the children's current learning objectives highlighted in yellow for your reference.
To navigate to your child's year group page please scroll your mouse over the primary link on the tool bar at the top of your page and a drop down menu of year groups will appear for selection.
Our French department will have their own pages in Key Stage 2 which can be navigated to from a button at the top of the year group page.
This development will improve our home-school links and drive academic progress. Please find the site link below for your reference:
