School buses will pick up an hour later in the morning. Please can you make arrangements for your child to be picked up by 1:00pm, there will only be aftercare until 1:30pm for emergencies.
The school canteen will be closed, therefore those students in KS 2 who are not fasting are requested to bring a packed lunch and a bottle of water/juice which will be consumed in the canteen. We will make appropriate arrangements for those students who are fasting in KS1.

Dear parents,
This term we are assessing geography and history via research projects to be completed at home.
For Geography, the task will be to produce a 5 chapter information booklet (1 chapter per week) about rainforests. Each week a question/title of the chapter will be released and it is the students’ job to use the internet to research information and produce a short, concise chapter, including pictures. You will be able to find the question/title of the chapter on the VLE CLASS PAGE, each Thursday. Submission will be at the end of term on the following date; not each week.
Deadline for submission: Wednesday 29th May
Chapter 1 - What is a rainforest?
Chapter 2 - Where are rainforests in the world and why?
Chapter 3 - What are the layers of the tropical rainforest?
Chapter 4 - What are the plants in the rainforest?
Chapter 5 - What are the animals in the rainforest?
For History, the task will be to produce a powerpoint presentation about WWII. Each week a question/title of the chapter will be released and it is the students’ job to use the internet to research information and produce one or two concise slides, including pictures. You will be able to find the question/title of the chapter on the VLE CLASS PAGE, each Thursday. Submission will be at the end of term on the following date; not each week.
