This is what the homescreen looks like, and it's where you will find all of your options. There are some very simple and straightforward options, as well as some more complex options.
The more straightforward options include:
Resize image - change the size of your photo. This is helpful when you need to upload something, but it won't go since it says the file is too large.
Remove background - removes the background from the main image. This allows you to use the main focus of the image and add it to another photo or background and not have it look so clearly photoshopped.
Rotate image - rotates the image for when your camera doesn't do what you want.
Flip image - I'm not sure how much this one would be needed, but it can flip your photo - which is different than rotating.
Crop image - get rid of excess that you don't want in the photo
Add text - adds text to the photo
Watermark image - this lets you show ownership of the image that you are using or creating
The (slightly) more complex options:
Image converter & HEIC to JPG - these are both pretty similar in my opinion. Both of these options let you take a photo and change what it's titled as or how the computer reads it. There are times when you aren't able to upload something because it won't accept that type of image, so this option lets you bypass that by changing what the image is saved as. The HEIC to JPG is the same thing, but I know that when you add or email an iPhone image, it saves it as HEIC, which isn't the most compatible option. This would convert it to JPG which is much more compatible.
Compress image - this is not something I'm familiar with, but apparently, it makes the image smaller so it takes up less storage space.
Image to PDF - there will be times where you can't send or upload an image, but it will take a PDF. This would be an easy method to convert from one to the other.
Meme generator - if you're not familiar with memes this won't make much sense to you. This would be a fun activity to have students do, and you could turn it into a writing activity as well. This gives you a template with the font you typically see in memes, but it lets you have some customizable options too.
Video to GIF - in my mind, this is like making a video shortened to more like a live photo. When I tried this out, it took the video and just broke the video up into a bunch of pictures - almost frame by frame. That is not what I was expecting, but if that's what you're looking for, this will do it!
