Zero Noise Classroom

This is an app that is available through the Chrome Web Store. It's a timer that also features a noise tracker. In order to use this app, you would download it, launch the app, set the timer, project the timer to your screen (or not, whatever you choose) and let it do it's job. As it counts down, your computer microphone would pick up the noise levels and display them using varying shades of gray lines, or red lines if the noise level is too high.

Here is a quick overview of what all of the options are once you have launched Zero Noise.

After the timer has run out, or if you stop the timer, you will have something that looks like the image below. The light gray lines show that the noise levels were low, darker gray mean higher noise levels, and red means the noise exceeded the limit. The percentage in the middle of the screen shows what percentage of the time the noise level was too high. You can control this by changing the sensitivity number.
