The Wheel of Names website allows you to enter your students' names, click to spin the wheel, and a name will be selected. This is a very helpful and easy-to-use resource that also saves a ton of time instead of writing on popsicle sticks, especially if you have multiple classes.
In the past, I have used this resource to choose students, give point values for review games, and we used it with the whole middle school to select ISASP reward winners - which shows there can be MANY names added to the list.
This even gives you the otpion of signing up, that way you can save your lists that you use frequently.
Here is an overview of what the website looks like:
Once you create a list, you would want to save it, and give it a title that will help you remember what you use it for. To access your saved lists, you would select "Open" and your lists would be there. To my knowledge, you are prompted to sign in once you select one of those options.
You can also customize the wheel by changing the colors, how long it spins, the sounds it uses, and much more.
