Google Calendar has had the option to schedule appointments, but they recently updated this option and it is now a lot more user friendly. This update reminds me of Calendly or the way parents sign up for conferences in the middle school, but all streamlined to align with Google. (Which is much easier since we're a Google school and it's all free!)
To utilize Google Calendar Appointments, follow the steps below.
Click "Create"
Choose "Appointment schedule"
3. Basic Features = A new page will appear and here you can: add a title, add the length of the appointments, choose if the appointments will be repeated on another day, delete days you won't be available, and choose your start and end dates.
4. Slightly more advanced features - choosing the maximum or minimum time before an appointment can be booked, customizing specific dates, buffer time between appointments, as well as a maximum amount of appointments per day.
5. Click "Next"
6. Final steps: adding your name (this will default to your primary Google Account), location/type of meeting, a description of the meeting, booking form - what others must provide in order to schedule an appointment, and deciding on booking confirmations and reminders.
7. When everything is the way you want, click "Save"
8. A small window will pop up that will give you the link you can use to share with others so they can schedule appointments with you. This also allows you to edit your appointments, and see who has signed up for what days and times.
