Hello Friends, Family, and Folks of Southwest High School,
Please join us for Coffee with the Principal this Tuesday, October 7th at 9-10 am in the media center. This is a low-key opportunity to engage with Dr. Bennett and give feedback about all things Anchors!! The PTSA will provide pastries and coffee to help you start your day.
While you are at it, please bring new or gently used clothing to donate to the Laker Locker for our community members in need. (These can be dropped in the front office on your way in.)
We look forward to seeing you all there!
-Lisa Mills
Senior Parents,
Please have your senior check with the Southwest Health Office in Room W119 (NOT the School Based Health Clinic) to make sure they have BOTH doses of the meningococcal vaccine on file. This vaccine protects against brain infection (meningitis). Minnesota state law requires 2 doses for seniors. If your senior cannot receive the vaccine due to a medical or non-medical exemption, please sign/notarize the exemption form and bring it to the Southwest Health Office in Room W119. The exemption form deadline is October 15.
(see page 2 – English | Somali | Spanish | Hmong ). Thanks!
We had such positive feedback from parents who volunteered during Homecoming week that we're opening the Laker Locker during lunches on Wednesdays for the rest of the year. Your help really makes a difference for our students. Sign up now before all the slots fill up!
