Navigating the beginning of a school year is always a challenge, but facing it with such heavy hearts is a true testament to the character of the Southwest community. Thank you for showing up for one another, for fostering a sense of safety and normalcy, and for proving that even in difficult times, our community is a place of care and support.
I am immensely proud of how the Southwest community has come together to start this school year. Thank you!

Students with "class release" on their schedule (normally seniors with 1st or 6th hours open) for any period must be either in the media center or out of the building during that period. Students may not hang out in the hallways, commons or other unsupervised areas.
For juniors, the PSAT is a pre-qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship and other scholarship programs. For sophomores, this is a practice level exam. It's a great chance for students to get feedback in preparation for future exams (i.e. ACT/SAT).
