Senior AVID family night will be held in the College and Career Center from 6-7 p.m.
Parent orientation for Spanish-speaking families will be held in the auditorium from 6-7 p.m.

9th Grade families, make sure to pick up your free Laker yard sign on October 15 at Southwest.
10th, 11th and 12th grade families are able to purchase a Laker yard sign from the SW Foundation for $20.
Winter Sports Registration will open on October 14th. For girls, we offer basketball, gymnastics, nordic ski, alpine ski, hockey, cheer, dance, and wrestling. For boys, we offer basketball, swim/dive, wrestling, nordic ski, alpine ski, and hockey. Registration is required and is open to all athletes intending to participate. Registration can be completed online with the link included below. The first day of practice/evaluations for winter sports: Girls Hockey and Dance 10/28, Girls Basketball, Gymnastics, Nordic and Alpine Ski, Boys Hockey and Cheer 11/11. Wrestling and Boys Basketball 11/18, Boys Swim/Dive 12/2.

In-Person Winter Sports Information Night will be held at Southwest on Wednesday, October 23rd in in the Southwest Commons from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Coaches will be available to help answer any questions you may have.
Registration Fees: Hockey $240, All other sports $75. ($25 for families registered for educational benefits.) All athletes must have a sports physical on record from the last three years. Sports physicals are free at the Southwest Mini-Clinic: 612-394-3278 if needed.
