MPS is currently gathering information in order to determine how we can fulfill our mission and vision more effectively. All current MPS caregivers are invited to share your priorities with us by completing the survey.
The school transformation process started in Dec. of 2023 with the school board passing a board resolution to initiate the process. So far, the physical space study has been completed, we have reviewed and summarized the feedback we’ve received from families over the past 10 years, we have completed year 1 of priority-based budgeting last year with that work continuing this year and we are wrapping up the Spanish dual-language taskforce work. See the school transformation webpage for more detailed information.
The ACT will be given to all Southwest juniors on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 during the school day. There is no cost to families.
The test will be given digitally, so students will need their district-provided Chromebooks in order to take the exam.
The district provides students with the full ACT test, including the now-optional science section and the writing section.
More specific information will be provided, including what students in other grade levels will be doing, as the testing date nears.
