The venue is the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Next week has the potential to be extremely challenging emotionally for students regardless of the outcome of the election. Here's the language we've shared and will continue to share with students:

As we approach election day, we know that a lot may be weighing on your minds and hearts.  At Southwest, we come from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, so the events surrounding this election will hit each of us differently. So next week, let's treat each other with an abundance of compassion and respect and treat this as an opportunity to grow together. There are many adults here to support you when things are hard. Social workers & counselors, as well as APs, teachers, and other trusted adults are here for you. We're all in this together.

This week, seniors were given instructions via Google Classroom for completing the college survey needed for Direct Admissions. This survey went live via Infinite Campus on October 30th @ 10:20 am.
