Families will get a chance to pick up student schedules,
meet the Southwest faculty and administration, become more familiar with our trio of IB programs, pick up a yard sign, and learn more about the new cell phone policy being implemented this year. Hope to see you there!

All 9th grade families will be able to pick up their FREE yard sign at open house compliments of the Southwest Foundation. Families with students in other grades can buy one ($20 cash or card). Southwest Foundation members will be on hand for distribution.

Student Volunteers Needed by Lake Harriet PTA
The Lake Harriet PTA has a number of events throughout the year where student volunteers would be a huge help with logistics AND free up caregivers to spend the event with their students (for example, back to school Open Houses).
If volunteering is something you're open to...please SIGN UP HERE ! Typical volunteer needs include wayfinding, check-in/ welcome table staffing, serving food, etc.

SUPER SOCCER SATURDAY - SEPTEMBER 14th
Calling all Southwest students to come and support your men's and women's soccer teams at the biggest soccer event of the season! Not only will it be a day of GREAT soccer but there will also be concessions, spirit wear, a raffle and MORE!! Whether you are a soccer fan or just a fan of food and fun, this is your event! Let's show our Laker pride and fill the stands with purple to support our teams!! This is an all day event for one entry fee - what a deal! Bring your family and friends for a great day at the SW Stadium.
