As we prepare for Saturday night’s homecoming dance, we want to once again share expectations to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
Dance begins/doors open at 7 p.m.
Students should bring their ticket and ID or Infinite Campus profile
All coats/bags/purses must be checked in upon arrival
For faster check in, leave coats/bags/purses at home
No outside food, drinks, or water bottles
No reentry once you leave the dance
Breathalyzers will be used as necessary and appropriate
Dance ends promptly at 10 p.m. Please arrange rides in advance.
We will have the presence of district EMSS (Emergency, Management, Safety, and Security) staff for security purposes.
Looking forward to a great evening!
Please consider joining the upcoming Community Safety Public Panel with City of Minneapolis leaders, moderated by 13th Ward Councilmember Palmisano on Oct, 6. The event is free and you can register here (or just show up), and submit questions ahead of time here. Coffee, tea, cocoa and cookies will be provided. Enter Doors 1 or 15 off of Beard Avenue. We invite you to share this poster with your neighbors, friends and family.
Thank you,
~Dave Premack, Southwest Community Education
