Last week, Southwest welcomed 12 students and 2 teachers from Kasugaoka High School in Japan (the sister school of Southwest High School). Students stayed with host families, attended classes at Southwest, and even got to enjoy a Minnesota snow day on Wednesday. They also met Mayor Frey, toured the University of Minnesota, and visited Anthony Middle School before leaving on Thursday. We greatly enjoyed their time with us and miss them already.
