Congratulations to Southwest Junior Erin Davis who finished in 3rd place at the Minnesota State Tennis Tournament today. She won three out of four matches at State. 

The Southwest Laker football team squares off with SLP this Saturday at noon at SLP for the rights to advance in sectional playoffs. Wins by both Southwest and Washburn would set up a halloween night game vs. Washburn at Southwest.

The Siren magazine, a publication by Southwest students, is currently working on its Fall Issue. We are looking for student submissions and models for the photoshoot. Please see attached flyer for more information. 

Exam registration season is almost over, and our amazing Southwest scholars have the opportunity to take any IB DP exam that they qualify for based on the class they are currently taking.  As a reminder, all IB exams are paid for by MPS!!  Please complete registration before 11/1- the sooner the better!  There is also a link for the 3 AP exams we offer, but they do carry a $70 registration fee.  If you have questions, please see email timothy.leistikow@mpls.k12.mn.us.
