The Southwest Girls Cross Country Team won the Section 6AA Championship in dominating fashion Thursday with all seven runners finishing in the top 16. The team will represent Southwest at State on Saturday, November 1. The boys team finished in 3rd place and Ben Schendel qualified for State with an 8th place individual finish. Good luck at State, Lakers!!
Congratulations to Southwest Junior Erin Davis who finished in 3rd place at the Minnesota State Tennis Tournament today. She won three out of four matches at State.

The Southwest Laker football team squares off with SLP this Saturday at noon at SLP for the rights to advance in sectional playoffs. Wins by both Southwest and Washburn would set up a halloween night game vs. Washburn at Southwest.

Exam registration season is almost over, and our amazing Southwest scholars have the opportunity to take any IB DP exam that they qualify for based on the class they are currently taking. As a reminder, all IB exams are paid for by MPS!! Please complete registration before 11/1- the sooner the better!
