Term 4, Week 5

Reading

Besides assessment, this week students will read their preferred book in a book club and write book reviews. They will also discuss key details about the book (title, author, characters, setting, plot) and explain what they liked or didn’t like ( with reasons)

Writing and word work

This week students will continue to publish their Author's Study. They will organise their writing and present it in a style of their choice, whether that is digitally, or on a poster.

Spelling

In Spelling this week, students will look at the difference between Plural S and Apostrohpe S.

Maths

This week in Maths, we’ll be working on PAT assessment. We will also continue to consolidate students' learning and understanding of Decimal as well as make Graphs to analyse Probability results.

Health

This week, students will be learning about seeking health in tricky situations ( if affected by violence or inappropriate forms of bodily contact enacted by adults.)

Digitech

This week, we will learn how about Data Navigators- Safe and Smart as well as online Collaboration. Students will develop safe and effective online search strategies, and learn how to collaborate effectively online by using clear communication, shared responsibility
