9th December - Meet the teacher transition
16th December - Cohort party
16th December - Year 6 Graduation
19th December - Last day - 1:30pm finish

Record all homework completed - especially reading - each day in diaries
Diaries are checked on Fridays - please check your child's diary to ensure they have filled it in
Reading
20 minutes each night
Read a range of different texts, including fiction and non-fiction
Spend at least 5 minutes reading out loud
Discuss new vocabulary or any thing you read and don't understand
Other
Spend time completing other activities - see ideas suggested on the slides
The extended absence choice board activities are designed to keep students engaged and aligned with the Victorian Curriculum during an extended absence (over a week).
