In reading this week, students will be analysing the text features of the story 'Gary'. They will also be completing a range of fun Book Week activities and reading for pleasure!
In writing this week, students will publish their first person, diary style narrative. They will learn about synonymns and antonymns and complete free choice writing.
This week in Spelling we will be learning the rules of plurals, including 's', -es' and irregular plurals.Â
This week we will be revisiting division and connecting division facts to known multiplication facts. We will use this knowledge to solve a range of division problems. Students will also practise recognising angles as a measurement of turn and naming angles (right, acute, obtuse etc)
This week in Health, we will identify people we can turn to for help if needed and identify people we are able to help. We will also practise ways to seek help and will identify that we may need to help-seek more than once to get the help they need.
This week, we will collect, organise and present different types of data using software tools to create clear and meaningful information. We will analyse an infographic to interpret and complete an ethogram to record observed behaviours, using tally marks to collect data systematically.
