This week we will begin gathering information and planning for our information reports.
We will also continue to explore text connectives and practice using them in our writing.
In Spelling this week, we will learn about open and closed syllables as well as strategies for spelling longer words. We will also learn to spell some new tricky words and use our Super Speller Checks to identify spelling errors.
This week we will build our understanding of strategies to solve problems multiplying by 3 and 6.
We will also be looking at perimeters of shapes using rulers and other measuring instruments.
This week in Health, we will be working through our respectful relationships curriculum. Our focus will be feelings and how to tame angry feelings.
This week, students will start putting their Whitehorse Council Research into a presentation. They will pay special attention to using their own words to summarise the information.
