Self Correction Checklist
When to use it? When a student makes frequent "silly" mistakes on independent work/assessments.
Directions:
Fill in the checklist with common mistakes for that unit or particular to the student.
Print out copies of the checklist and provide for all independent work and/or assessments.
Review checklist with student regularly.
*This could be done by the student independently, given to partners to complete together, or as a mini-conference with the teacher after an assignment/test.
