As you may know, FBLA just won their competition for their Regional Conference! Amari Graves won first place in Health Care Admission, Cooper Bebeau won second place in Personal Finance, Angel Richardson won third place in Journalism, Aryan Kulkarni won first place in Intro to information Technology and in Intro to Business Communication, Ty’Leone Davis won first place in Human Resource Management, Michael Matejko won second place in Computer Problem Solving, Bre’Asia Jones won second place in Advertising, and Zach Parker won first place in Business Communications and in Organizational Leadership. They are heading to states on April 1st!

FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. In this club, you learn about business operations, volunteer in the community, leadership development and other educational programs. There are usually three goals for FBLA; developing aggressive business leadership, strengthening the confidence of students in themselves and their work, and creating more interest and understanding of American Business.

Zachary Parker said that he wanted to join FBLA because he “wants to major in business in college and loves to volunteer.” FBLA has competitions in the regional conferences in academic tests relating to business and community service acts in Danville. Zachary Parker said his favorite part about FBLA is “how much they help out in the community and how Mrs. Nipper is wonderful at encouraging us to do our best.” FBLA is currently partnering with BETA and SCA to pack 5,000 meals for Rising Against Hunger, and later in this semester they are hosting a BINGO night to raise money for it.

FBLA is a really great club for students to join and it looks great on college applications. It is a really good way to give back to the community by helping others.
