Why hopeless romance is the best genre

A hopeless romance is every girl's dream love story, but not many people know what it is. It’s someone who continues to believe in love, no matter the struggles they might have experienced in the past. They choose to see the positive in relationships over the negative, believing wholeheartedly that love conquers all. It also is a genre of books, which I believe are the best books ever.

Some of the most popular books are:

  • “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks

  • “The Duke and I” by Julia Quinn

  • “Emma” by Jane Austen

  • “Beach Read” by Emily Henry

Now, personally I love hopeless romance. I live on it. Some of my favorite books are:

  • “Remember When” by Judith McNaught

  • “Prognosis: A Baby? Maybe” by Jacqueline Diamond

  • “A Randall Returns” by Judy Christanberry

  • “The Doctors Valentine Dare” by Cindy Kirk

You can most likely buy these books at Walmart or Target, you can even buy them from Goodwill and The Salvation Army. I own 40 books. Most have been bought from Goodwill or The Salvation Army. You can usually get them for 50 cents to $1.50.

“It's an escape from the struggles and reality of being in a real relationship, because in a real relationship there are a lot of struggles,” said senior Rowan Kirk.
