Have fun this summer! Ideas for fun activities

With the school year ending soon and summer finally approaching, there are many students that are ready for summer break. Summer break is a great chance for students to use their free time to relax, go out of town, or stay at home and hang with family. While some students already have their plans set for the summer, there are quite a few families that have no clue what they’ll be doing over the break. Here are some ideas for spots and expenses that you could enjoy over the summer.

If you want to travel far from Danville for the summer, then there are countless places for you to go. Two very well-known sites that get many visits during the summer are Disneyland and DisneyWorld. Disney is a classic place that is a great chance for both kids and adults to have a blast over the summer. The general area around DisneyWorld and Disneyland also has a vast amount of different things to do if you don’t want to only go to the amusement park. Other spots that you could visit include Paris if you enjoy sightseeing, Hawaii if you want to enjoy the island air & live the island lifestyle, and Thailand if you want to enjoy different delicious, exotic foods.

If you want to stay in town for your summer break, that might be a little bit tricky since we’re a small city. Even though we have a few things to do, there are still some inclusive activities & places for you to do and go. You could go to any of the museums or centers that we have in Danville if you enjoy history and appreciate such things. You could go to the North Theatre that we have if you’re a person that enjoys theatrical life and entertainment. You could play at any of the few golf courses, mini and regular sized, if that’s your cup of tea, or you could just bask in the sunlight and go to any of the parks and river walks that we have so you could relax and enjoy the pure nature of Danville, Virginia.
