Senior Week Activities

Field Day

Transition Ceremony

On June 17th, we were thrilled to honor our graduating Seniors with a Transition Ceremony, including staff, students, and guests. This year, we celebrated the accomplishments of 29 students who have earned their diplomas and are moving on to the next chapter of their lives. We are very proud of their hard work and wish them all the best as they transition from Lighthouse School.

Summer Family Services

Your Family Therapist is the primary communication bridge between your family and the Team at Lighthouse School. We appreciate all of the collaboration during the school year, and want to remind our families that our commitment to communication and family support does not end when the school year ends. Our Family Services continue throughout the summer months, with outreach visits as well as ongoing communication as needed. Summer is also a time for us to complete the necessary consent paperwork for the upcoming school year.

In addition to communicating during the Summer with your Family Therapist, we also want to remind you that our Family Support line remains available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year. All families have access to this family support line that, when accessed, will allow you to connect with one of our Family Services Division team members. If you are in need of assistance, please start by calling Line 1: (978) 821-1351. If you are not able to connect with a therapist or do not get a response within 10 minutes, please try Line 2: (978) 821-0316.

Consent Forms Process 2022-2023

As we approach the end of this school year, we are already looking ahead to next year and our Consent Forms Process for the upcoming school year has begun. Completing these forms annually ensures that we have the most current information for all of our families and students, as well as the necessary permissions to provide services and treatment. The deadline to submit the forms for the upcoming school year is June 30 and in order for them to be as easy as possible to complete, we have made the forms available to fill out and sign online. You should have already received an email with a link for School Year 2022-2023 Consent Forms and we are including the link below as well. Please communicate with your Family Therapist if you have any questions or need any assistance in completing these forms. As always, we appreciate your cooperation in completing this important and necessary paperwork!

Summer Challenge

As Summer break is fast approaching, we wanted to reach out about the Summer Challenge materials that are being offered and sent home. Each year we compile activities and tasks for the students to complete over the summer as they wish. Our hope is it provides some structured activities to continue the skills they worked so hard on during the year and to provide structured activities for families, should you choose to use them.

This year, we have a Summer Challenge choice grid and a Reading Challenge choice grid. Students can choose to do all or some of the activities. While this is meant to be a support and not a requirement, please send any completed activities or work in with your child in the Fall when we return to redeem a reinforcer for all of their hard work over the summer.

We hope you have a safe and happy summer break!!!

If you are looking for additional ways this Summer to help your child to practice their academic skills in Reading, we have a platform called Lexia Core5 that can be accessed from any computer. Information on Lexia Core 5, along with instructions on setting up and accessing and account at home can be found by clicking here:

Summer Activities

It certainly is hard to believe that the 2021-2022 school year is just about over, but here we are these last days of June. As we close the school year, we wanted to provide our students and families with some tips and ideas of fun ways to stay active, keep busy and enjoy the summer. Please click on the links below for lots of fun ideas and activities within many of our Massachusetts and New Hampshire communities.

We at Lighthouse School wish you all a safe, healthy and happy summer and look forward to seeing you in the Fall for the start of another wonderful school year.
