Learning English as a Second or Foreign Language can be easy and fun for smart motivated students like us... We already know how to get in touch with a person from another country who doesn't speak our own native language, and we are perfectly able to communicate, understand the Other/s - provided they speak slowly and clearly - and make ourselves understood in familiar situations...

We are aware we're 'Global Citizens', and we love learning and being able to speak and communicate in several Foreign Languages!

However, being so smart students, we are also aware that being good 'Global Citizens' and 'Planetary People' implies and requires other Competences, besides the Communicative Competence: and in particular, what we need to develop and improve is what we call 'Digital Literacy'.

This is why we decided to create our own Class Website in the school year 2019/2020 and learn how to organise contents and topics, and post presentations, materials, articles and everything we want and need online...

Of course, we always try to use online materials, images and articles paying due respect to norms and the law: however, whatever we use, as students and teachers, we use it for a didactic-educational purpose only, and are always ready to change, revise and re-edit the products of our creativity and critical mind...

My name is Martina and I'm 14 years old. I live in Cormons, which is a small town, with my family.

We're four: me, my parents and my sister. I have a really strong bond with them, especially with my sister. We are always together. Even if she is six years older than me, we get on really well and I often go out with her because we enjoy each other's company.

We quarrel quite a lot though, because we have completely different personalities: my sister's sociable, she likes going out with her friends and she shows her feelings.

I'm the opposite: I like staying in my room and I don't show what I'm feeling .

I love reading and watching TV series or movies because I feel like for a moment I can be someone else and become a part of the story. My favorite book is "Divergent". I like it because it talks about identity and choices that you have to make to find who you really are. My favorite movie is "The nightmare before Christmas", it reminds me of my childhood.

I also love horses and everything about them. In fact I've been doing horse riding since I was a child. I feel really comfortable around horses, I think they're amazing animals and they understand you.

I'm a very reserved person, I get really mad when people say that I'm shy, because I'm not. I feel like people always confuse these two words.

I have a lot of self-esteem, I believe in myself. I also don't care about what people think of me.

I usually prefer to avoid showing what I feel because I think it's better to keep your thoughts by yourself, if you don't people will judge you.

It's really hard for me to completely trust someone but when I do, I am a very reliable person and a good listener.

I also consider myself as a very ambitious person, in fact I have really high expectations about my future. My biggest one is to move to Vancouver and spend my whole life there.

My name is Viola, I’m 15 years old and I live in Gemona. I can seem a shy, reserved person with the people I know little about, but with my friends I’m very extrovert and sometimes egocentric.

Who knows me well, knows that I’m a paranoid person: for all the things I have to do, I think of all the things that could happen, and I often don’t do them out of fear. I’m a calm person, but sometimes with my close friends I vent me, I’m very sensible and discreet.

For me a friend is the one to whom you can say everything without feeling judged. I have a lot of friends but I feel that I can really trust only a few. I’m a person who is influenced by the opinion of other people, so I have the need to be assured by people who care about me.

In my family we are 5: I have one brother, Giacomo, he is very funny, loud and noisy. My sister, Cecilia, is very noisy and she is energetic. My mum, Marina, is calm, busy, patient, and my father, is Ivano, is clever, amusing. I love to spend a lot of time with my family, mostly in that occasions when we meet with all the cousins, uncles, and grandparents, for example at Christmas, ester.

I love Hip Hop because I can let off steam, I really love sunday winter afternoons passed with my family at home, with a cup of tea, I love to travel, unfortunately so far I have traveled little, but mow that my brothers are a little older, we will travel more.

My absolute favorite hobbys are watching films and TV series, my favorite saga is Harry Potter, I saw it for the first time at 7 year sold and since that time I have seen it millions of times. My favorite TV series are Grey’s Anatomy and Lost, I think they are both very interesting and engaging.

I'm Jasmine and I'm 15 years old. I live in Basiliano , which is a small town in Friuli.

I'm a self-confident person, I don't care about what people say or think about me, but sometimes I get very touchy.

I'm selective , especially when I meet new people and I make new friends.

Since I was a child , I have always been very lively, impatient and curious.

I'm a person who gets easily amused and I really laugh a lot. I'm unselfish and I like to help people , I always do volunteering at least twice a year.

When I play volleyball oftrn I feel free , determinate , angry and astute but sometimes I feel stubborn with my coach or my friends.

My name is Benedetta, I’m 14 years old and I was born on the first of January. I come from S. Daniele del Friuli, a town of 8000 inhabitants situated on a small hill. I like so much my town because it’s safe, clean and I comfortable. I live there with my lovely family: my parents Elisa and Luigi and my little brother Romeo.

I’m attending the 2nd year of the Liceo 'C. Percoto' and I study languages. I go to school by coach and I spend 20 minutes to arrive in Udine.

I love reading, dancing and taking pictures, because these activities relax me a lot and I have so much fun doing them.

These are my favorite things: my favorite sport is dancing (not classical but modern and hip hop dance), my favorite subjects are French and English, my favorite city is London but I also love Paris; my favorite season is Winter, because in Winter I can drink hot chocolate, wear sweatshirts, sleep under the covers and do things I can’t do in other seasons. My favorite song at the moment is Bad Liar by Imagine Dragons, but I also love other artists: for example, I love all the songs by Queen, my favorite band. My favorite colour is light blue and my favorite food is chocolate.

I am a quiet, polite and reserved kind of person; I’m a dark horse and I don’t usually express my feelings with people that I don’t know well. I can be myself only with friends and family. I have few but true friends, because friendship can make our life better and full of great moments.

I am sympathetic, I don’t show it but I am. I‘m also stubborn and down to heart like all my family. I think I am very pessimistic and I like this way to being, because if something bad happens I don’t get disappointed because I expected that.

I'm Elisabetta. I'm 15 years old and I live in Colloredo di Prato. I'm an adventurous girl and very confident and I also think I'm a funny girl, because I love do laugh other people.

In my family, we are 4 people and 2 animals, my mother, my father and my older sister, instead I've a dog that is adorable but also is very lazy and a gold fish.

I'm also an energetic girl, because I'm really cheerful and I really like sport because it gives to me emotions and it frees up my energy! I practise artistic gymnastics , sport that gives me strengh to move forword, it teaches me to don't give up! Then, I also practise windsurf in Summer, and ski n Winter.

I used to practise athletics, until 2-3 months ago, but now I can't because of the school and the other courses I attend: Chinese and Spanish.

My name is Sara Massarini, I’m 15 years old and I live in Buja. I’m stubborn, because when I have an idea, it’s difficult to make me change my mind.. I’m selfish, because sometimes I don’t want to share my things with anybody. I’m touchy, because nobody can judge me and I’m really honest and ambitious. I’m competitive because I always want to win. But I’m also sweet, funny and sensitive, and I have a lot of imagination.

I have three stepsisters: Francesca, Selene and Ilenia. They are stubborn and sensitive like me, but, Francesca is also rancorous.

My parents, Lucia and Maurizio, are very different from me, because they’re usually very friendly and sociable with everybody, while my sister and I are more shy.

I have one dog, Pepe, he is one years old. He is really sweet and he always wants cuddles, but sometimes he is pestiferous, because he eats all of my things. I also have4 turtles: Uga, Ugo, Puffo and Luna.

My best friend’s name is Simone, we grew up together and he is really funny, but sometimes is a little bit stubborn. My best friends are called Maila and Ilaria, they are very sweet with me, and we laugh a lot together.

I love reading and my favourite books are “the pages of our life” by Nicholas Sparks and “Pride and prejudice” by Jane Austen. They are both very emotional. For me these are the best stories ever.

My favourite film is “the pursuit of happiness”, and all the times I watch it I cry a lot, because it is very moving. Will Smith, is also my favourite actor.

I also love travelling, and this is one of the reasons why I chose this school. I don’t like sport, but in summer, I do snorkelling and I love doing it.

I like art, and my favourite painter is Frida Kahlo, because in my opinion, she CONVEYS her feelings THROUGH her paintings.

My name is Ilaria I’m 15 and I live in Tolmezzo.

In my family there are 3 people: me, my mum and my dad; I get on really well with them. I have a cat, his name is Swiffer, he is really calm, I think he is the laziest cat ever.

I'm Alessandro, I'm 15 years old and I live in Tricesimo, a small town in north of Udine
