A Union without Borders

In all Member States of the European Union, the right to travel through all States without visas is granted to all citizens. All you need to do is present your identity document, and that's a great advantage!

From my point of view, as a young European person, Europe means first of all freedom of travelling: in fact, you can move without barriers and without borders. For me, it is essential to facilitate freedom of movement between countries as much as possible, so that the economy can develop together with integration.

Unfortunately now, due to Brexit, going to England will be more complicated: I am really disheartened, because I am quite convinced that it is vital that neighbouring states think less about their own national interests and think more as a Community.

Despite this, what I think is that the EU means also Loyalty, because whatever happens, we know we are not alone and there will always be someone willing to help us, who will never turn their back on us.

I believe that we are all citizens of the world and it would make no sense to put barriers between countries. I hope that freedom of movement will be garanted in the future all over the world and not just in Europe.

In conclusion, I would say that Europe is our home, and I would never be able to imagine a world without it.
